1. When were you born? Where? March 22, 1925 in Shelbyville, Indiana
2. What were some of the first words and phrases you spoke? I have... no idea.
3. At what age did you first attend school? What school did you go to? Did you like it? Normal start, I guess, first grade like anybody else. I went to schools near where my father was stationed and I dropped out of high school, so you can just guess how much I liked it.
4. Name one of your fondest childhood memories. The four of us, my mom and dad and sister and me doing things together.
5. Now name one of your worst. Losing mom.
6. Name one of your most embarrassing. My dad's last words to me.
7. Which parent/adult were you closest to as a small child?Ha. Ha. haaaa. Dad, I guess.
8. What about as a teenager? I believe the proper response is N/A.
9. Did you ever try drinking, drugs, or both? What all have you tried? Were you ever caught? Caught? Are you kidding? I was bringing in booze or whatever else was wanted to the plebes and officers at camp, and I might have tried shit, though I can't say anything other than alcohol actually struck me as something I wanna try again.There were more extensive experiments with drugs resistance... later. Not all of them were executed by enemies.
10. Did you ever skip school? How frequently? Yeaaaah. For a while, not too often so as to make sure Rebecca didn't pick up the habit, though.
11. Who was your best friend when you were really small? I don't remember.
12. Who was your best friend when you were a teenager? Steve. And Toro.
13. Did you sleep with stuffed animals? At what age did you stop – if you ever did? Well... I didn't. But after mom died there were times when Rebecca would have nightmares and would come cuddle up with me, and sometimes she'd bring hers in.
14. Did you ever have braces or glasses growing up? Nah.
15. Did you ever break your arm or leg and need crutches – or anything similar to that? Hah.In brawls. Yeah. Though I've always been a quick healer.
16. Did you ever have any strange habits that you outgrew but were teased for? I was always in fights when I was growing up, the officers-- wait, never mind, I don't think I did outgrow that.
17. How well did you get along with your parents and siblings? Never got enough with my parents, and after Rebecca was shipped off to boarding school, I didn't see much of her, either, though we kept writing letters. Steve and Toro and I got along fine.They totally count. Same with Jim and Namor... as well as anyone ever gets along with Namor, that is.
18. If you could go back and change one thing about the past, would you? What would you change? Changing the past is a bad idea. But if I would... what I'd change isn't in my childhood.
19. What were some of your favorite pranks to pull when you were younger? Did you have any favorite jokes? What made you laugh the most back then? Well, as Namor once said, if sarcasm was a superpower, I'd have been their equal. Does that answer this one? Yeah, I was about sixteen or seventeen at the time.
20. Did you have any pets? If not, why? Not really. It's kinda complicated on military bases and when you're moving around.
